 FIRST     MEETING

R O M A N I A

NOVEMBER 2012

Romania, between 4th and 8th November hosted the first meeting of the project with our partners from Bulgaria, Poland, Estonia, Lithuania, Austria, Sweden and Romania.
The visit helped us to know each other better and established also ways of how to work on the project.
We exchanged ideas and we made the national stories known this being the purpose of our project.
Each partner has made a character puppet which will travel from country to country, from a story to another, for helping the children to know lots of stories showing and teaching them the moral values..
Children and teachers from “Blue Flower” Kindergarten who hosted the first meeting acted the play “The old man’s daughter and the old woman’s daughter”, a story written by Ion Creanga, they also danced and sang traditional songs and dances.

The visit gave us the opportunity to find out about customs and traditional products by organizing International meals. Each partner bringing specific products from its country.. Teachers who came in the project had the opportunity to know about social and cultural objects, completing the image of our country, Romania.
They had visited The Parliament House, The palace of Romanian Patriarchate, the Presidential Palace “Cotroceni” and Bran Castle.

Visiting another kindergarten “The Aristocratic Cats” the teachers met  other Romanian kindergarten teachers whose work was also admired.
The meeting wasn’t finished without establishing the next meeting date and what we have to do until then.
The communication between all of us succeeded to create an union between partners and we  can easily say that friendships has been made.
